I'm Caroline Voaden, founder of STORY., communications strategist and occasional (award-winning!) B2B copywriter.

After seeing the good, the bad and the ugly of B2B marketing and PR over nine years and wasting far too many hours in meetings that didn’t really need to be meetings…

I realised most comms were painfully dull or strategically thin. Too often, comms and copy get handed off to people (or agencies) who treat them as a one-off tactic.

They look for stories to use for a campaign or a quote, not as a tool to lead, sell or survive scrutiny.

I’m not interested in just ‘telling stories’.
